Ann Craven is an officer of
Rowell, Craven & Short, P.A. She has worked in public accounting
since 1986 and has a background in computer programming. Ann is a
member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and
the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. She has
earned her designation as a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning
(CSEP™), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and certified QuickBooks
ProAdvisor. Ann maintains a life and health insurance license as well
as a Medicare supplement and long-term care insurance license in North
Carolina. Ann’s primary focus is assisting clients with tax planning
and estate planning. She also performs general business and computer
consulting. Ann frequently speaks to non-profit groups about tax and
accounting issues. Ann has served the local community in many
capacities throughout her life. She is one of the founders of Family
Support Network of Greensboro, Inc., formerly known as Parent to Parent
Support, and currently serves as its treasurer. She is currently
serving on the Finance Committee of West Market Street United Methodist
Church and participates in the Chancel Choir. Ann has also served in
many capacities for various business, civic, and local community
organizations including Business Network International (BNI), Women’s
Resource Center and United Way. Ann graduated magna cum laude from the
University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She and her husband, B.J.
have two children, Chad and Sarah, and reside in Greensboro.
